Terms of adoption
How does adoption from Ukraine work?
PLEASE READ ATTENTIVELY!
Rescued dogs and cats need time to acclimatize and adapt to their new life. It is very important to understand this, adopters should strive to help their dog or cat overcome the difficulties that may arise during this time.
Process:
Important questions, the answers to which will influence the decision:
1. How old are you, do you have a family? If yes, how old are your children?
2. Do you live in an apartment or do you have a house with a yard?
3. How many hours a day do you spend at work?
4. Do you currently have other animals? If yes, which ones?
5. Video call with the ability to see where the dog will live or video from your home.
6. For the safety of both parties, we sign an *Adoption Agreement* when transferring the animal, this obliges the two parties to adhere to them, upon confirmation, we will send the agreement for review.
7. The timing of the animal’s arrival to the family (depending on the departure of transport) is between 2-4 weeks after confirmation of adoption. (Without force majeure situations, such as weather conditions and transport breakdown.)
Fees:
The transport fee is voluntary, depends on the distance of the route.
Documents:
Animal passport, Vaccination, Microchip, Serological titer for rabies, international health certificate.
This is a donation collection for transport and documents, which is transferred to a bank or electronic account, only after the dog or cat is delivered to your home.
Adopting animals should be thoughtful and informed. Having a dog is a serious responsibility. It needs to be monitored while we are at work, on vacation or during the holiday break.
